LookAroundHR.com provides a Generation Y perspective to the latest news relating to everything Human Resources. The blog will cover a range of topics from employment law, policies, benefits, the workplace- you name it, we’ll cover it.

My name is Brett Kittredge and I am the editor and publisher of LookAroundHR.com and have been in Human Resources since May 2007 when I first entered the real world. I began my HR career with a home health agency in Flowood, Mississippi and worked there until taking a position with Projections, Inc., an Atlanta based employee communications firm, in June 2008. You may say what can someone with little experience bring to a blog, and I think the answer is simple- fresh analysis from Generation Y (and, no were not all lazy mamma’s boys who have been babied since kindergarten).

As far as schooling goes, I received my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Mississippi in 2007. While at Ole Miss, I was active in his fraternity, Phi Kappa Psi, serving as Vice-President in 2005 and President in 2006, and I even wrote for the school newspaper, The Daily Mississippian, for a couple years.
